Weekly Updates--brought to you by Kurtis!

Friday, September 12th
"Today in Ms. Alisha's class, as we came in we went and sat in the crescent. They were asked what their favorite thing was. They got up for the pledge and said it. Later, they had the three hour work cycle, some finished and some didn't. The ones who finished went outside and built a bridge out of marshmallows and noodles. The ones who didn't had to stay in and finish their work. After that they had lunch and got stuffed. After that they read, talked about jobs, and did jobs. Then suddenly RING! The bell rang, everyone left. That was just some of the day."
-Kurtis

Monday, September 15th
"Today, when Ms. Alisha's class came to school, they were asked their favorite teams. They did some stretches and went to work. They worked on their Egypt projects and Science. Some kids started to read, some kids got called into groups. Most of the groups were on Math. They had snack within 10-15 minutes. They worked for three hours. At recess, they got a lot of energy out. At lunch, some kids were hungry and some stuffed. After that they read Bridge to Terabithia. In it Leslie died. They also use pillows, but they had a tax. A pillow tax. They have to pick up five scraps of stuff off the floor. After that they cleaned up and left."
-Kurtis

Tuesday, September 16th
"Today, Ms. Alisha's class came in and was asked one of their favorite colors. They said the pledge and started the three hour work cycle. Most people didn't finish the follow up work. Today some groups were on Math. They did LOTS of work. At recess, some kids got hot, others were just sitting. Lunch was loud. They read Bridge to Teribethia. They only have one more chapter. After that they did practice for the Egypt wax museum. After, they went home."
-Kurtis

Wednesday, September 17th
Kurtis was gone for a funeral. Our class did the Egyptian wax museum, and the students really seemed to enjoy it. If you have pictures, please e-mail them to me so I can post them. Thanks!
-Ms. Alisha

Thursday, September 18th
"Today, Ms. Alisha's class came in and was asked their favorite holiday. Some kids said Christmas and others their birthdays! They said the pledge and said it again. The reason was some kids didn't really say it. After, they talked about random things, then started work. Lots of kids did their shape commercials. Rench (recess/lunch) was fun. Lunch was weird. Lots of the lunch ladies gave out milk that smelled like bleach.** After, they did Science and left. Pretty short day, huh?"
-Kurtis

Friday, September 19th
"This morning Ms. Alisha's class came in and was asked their favorite game. After they said the pledge and started to work. Fabulous Friday was for watching some of Bridge to Terabithia. After was recess then lunch. After they read and did jobs. They had a short day. Really Friday is short day. But then everyone left."
-Kurtis

**Note: Milk was not expired and smelled/tasted average.
